Möbelmuseum Wien

The Vienna Furniture Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of furniture design and home decor. It houses one of the world's largest collections of historical furniture, including original Habsburg furniture, the world's largest Biedermeier collection and classics of modern furniture design. Furniture and interiors from the Baroque and Rococo periods, Empire & Biedermeier, Historicism, Viennese Modernism and the 20th and 21st centuries are also on display. One part of the permanent exhibition is dedicated to "Sissi in the movies" and shows the original furniture with the corresponding film scenes from the Sissi films with Romy Schneider.
